Scanning the documents
The most important function in MF Toolbox is for scanning the documents or even photos you need.
First, you just need to set the documents and open the MF Toolbox. Then click the scanning buttons. There is some MF Toolbox scan function menu, here they are.
- Mail is used when you need your scanned documents to be sent to someone using e-mail.
- OCR is used when you can use the OCR to either scan or read.
- Save, this menu allowed you to save the scanned documents to your storage.
- While the PDF menu is used to save the documents using the .pdf format or as PDF file.
- Then, Scan-1 and Scan-2 are used to rename the documents you save.
Each of the menus has the dialog box that will have more features and setting you to need. For example, in Mail, there will be the size of the paper, whether you want to scan in color or black and white mode, the quality of the image, what format you want to save your file, and so on.
After you already do the settings, you can click apply. Next, to scan the documents, you can click start, and the dialog box will appear in front of you. Here, you can see the preview image. When you think it is already based on what you want, then you can click Scan.
You can find the scanned file in My Pictures, which is inside My Documents folder, as a default. If you want to change the default storage, you can set the saving files by yourself.
